Prepare Your Child To Love
Prepare your child to love. Loving is the quality of man that makes us more human. It is a feeling typical of the heart of our species, as are the arteries, the blood… We are all born with the gift of love. In the very moment in which we open our eyes to the world, even if we are blind, we feel the love in the maternal arms that welcome us.
But even when we are loved and are able to feel the same, we don’t all know how to do it, or do it right.
Prepare your child to love , as you educate him to be in society, to learn to read and write. Don’t underestimate what will give him the most happiness.
If he takes a while to lift his head, to walk without falling, to speak or to hold a pencil, worry that he will never miss love. Make him love and try to be loved more than anyone else in life.
Love as the principle of all things
Without love, life does not go on. There is no undertaking, task or dream on earth that does not require human love to be achieved.
In affective mother-child matters, love is:
- In the attention that we dedicate to the child during the 24 hours of the day. When we provide him with his vital needs, we offer him our affection, we encourage him to talk, crawl, stand up. We witness his illnesses, we help him to expel gases, we take care of his crying and we do everything to give him the best emotional stimuli that develop in his brain.
- In the time we spend with our son, the games we share with him, the challenges we help him win, the advice we give him. Love is the protection and affection we give him. Everything we do to support him economically, how we educate him and transmit the most important values to him.
If we talk about self-love, we cannot forget:
- The respect we owe to ourselves
- How we protect our health and are always alert to the warning messages that the body sends us
- To get rid of negative emotions : selfishness, envy, greed, ingratitude… and we try to build our happiness and inner peace.
Referring to love, it must be understood that we must talk about:
- Tolerance for the characteristics and behaviors of others. Love as a couple.
- Respect for our fellow men
- Acceptance of the difference in character and way of thinking of each one. Selflessness, empathy and sensitivity to the problems of others.
Two ways you prepare your child to love
Perhaps, reading this title, you could consider that it is superfluous to teach to love those who, by nature, are already predisposed to do so. However, as we said at the beginning, not all people know how to love.
There can be various ways of teaching a child to love and showing him what love is. As mothers, we consider these two to be the most predominant:
- Teach your child to love through the word
- Introduce him to the wonderful world of silent love
Teach him to love through the word
To love through words means knowing how to use language to express the best phrases of love. Encourage when someone needs it, speak and praise, with the most condescending phrases, the successes and attitudes of others.
When you prepare your child to love through words, you make him understand how positive are optimistic phrases towards others, those that convey praise, hopes, good wishes.
Perfect is that child who learns to be kind and uses sincerity and the best feelings to make those around him feel good, and tell them how much he loves them.
Introduce him to the wonderful world of silent love
The love that is transmitted through tenderness, caresses, hugs, kisses, handshakes, is more effective than that expressed in words in itself.
Those who love, show it through their body language. Expressions of love speak louder than words, because affection, tenderness, admiration cannot be expressed verbally when someone feels good and loves another person.
When you prepare your child to love, you will have to teach him all of this.
